There is also a QR code that allows you to obtain more information about the Cap de Creus Natural Park. The new signage has been carried out in accordance with the regulations and design of the Natural Park , which has collaborated with the City Council in this project.

The action has been developed following the guidelines of the tourist marketing plan of Roses in order to enhance the image and knowledge of the Bay of Roses, distinguished as one of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, as well as natural products. and active tourism.

The Bay of Roses became part of the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World (sponsored by Unesco) in 2012, after the presentation of the candidacy carried out by the municipalities of Roses, Castelló d'Empúries-Empuriabrava, Sant Pere Pescador and L'Escala-Empúries.

Among the aspects evaluated for their choice, they consider attractive as the existence of ls parks, which includes numerous archaeological sites, more than 45 kilometers of beaches, high quality cuisine typical of the area, the great diversity of options in water sports, land and air, the coexistence of activities and the potential for economic development or the emblematic value for the local population.

From now on, the Roses Tourism Area makes it more accessible to residents and visitors to enjoy the view offered by the imposing bay, offering 8 viewpoints to discover and get to know it from different perspectives.
