Roses launches two charging stations for electric vehicles

Located in the plaza of Bocce, the promenade, and the stream Ginjolers (next to the building Telefonica)

To make use of these power stations must be identified by an RFID card that is part of the Alliance of municipalities interoperability ICAEN (Catalan Energy Institute). If you do not have it, can be sent to the Department of Infrastructure and Public Utilities of the City of Roses, providing the user ID of the electric vehicle, driving license and technical specifications of the vehicle. Soon, it will also launch an application that will allow such identification.

This action is included in the program of the Action Plan for Energy Roses (SEAP), which aims to reduce emissions of CO 2 by at least 20% by 2020. Among actions included in the plan for the reduction of greenhouse gases, there is the renewing efficient fleet of cars and diversification of the town's energy sector. To achieve this renewal, one of the actions taken is the installation of two charging stations for electric vehicles that now come into operation, as well as the gradual renewal of the municipal council vehicles to electric models.

Work on installation of two power stations have been a total cost of € 49,000 and have a grant from the Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN) 20,000 €. Points installed and features include:
