The proposal has been very well received, with a total of 44 participating establishments. The operation of the promotion will be as follows: between 1 and 31 August, the participating shops and services will present their customers with a scratch card for purchases of a minimum amount of € 10. If the card has a prize (an ice cream of a ball in a bowl or cone), it can be exchanged at one of the participating ice cream parlors. Among the participating establishments are grocery, fashion and accessories stores, hairdressers and beauticians, florists ... offering a wide range of shopping possibilities to get a prize.

The aim is to attract visitors to the local area of ​​Roses, so it will be accompanied by a promotional campaign that will cover the Empordà and neighboring counties, such as La Garrotxa, Ripollès and Osona.

This is one of the economic revitalization actions programmed by the City Council for the reactivation of the trade and services sectors in the face of the situation caused by the Covid health crisis19. The creation during the last months of participatory tables with the entrepreneurs of the trade, the restaurant and the hospitality industry, has allowed to approach and to agree ways of economic reactivation, that the council has concretized in a program of activities for the second semester of the year.

The program includes, from campaigns such as the Tapas Route that could not be carried out when it was planned - end of March - as a result of the declaration of the state of alarm, as new activities of impulse and reactivation not planned initially they want to offer an added attraction to visit Roses throughout the year.
