Roses takes the first step towards the construction of a second footbridge in the Riera Ginjolers

Roses will build a new walkway over the Riera Ginjolers, at the height of Oslo Street, to improve communication between the town of Mas Oliva and schools and the rest of the town of Roses.
A project that had a very good score in last year's Participatory Budgets that, remember the winning proposal was the creation of the Multi Adventure Park.
The construction of this walkway, however, will be carried out because it is highly demanded by the residents of the urbanization of Mas Oliva so as not to have to turn around to go, for example, to the educational center of the Empordà School the rest of the town of the town.

And the first step in its construction was taken in the past ordinary plenary of March, as the project was initially approved and done so unanimously.

The walkway, as explained by the Councilor for Town Planning, Sílvia Ripoll, “will be integrated, blended, with the landscape - it will have nothing to do with the chromatic walkway that was installed in 2014 -   and its structure will be made of structural steel profiles of different sections, the railing will be based on circular bars, also made of steel, oriented and inclined at random, while the pavement is provided with synthetic wood planks, fixed to the structure with stainless steel screws on rakes. At the ends of the footbridge, it is planned to build ramps for people with reduced mobility, as well as sections of stairs with three steps ”.

The construction of this walkway will lead to the development around them, as "p er facilitate access from the street in Oslo is expected to create a square that occupy the existing parking strip, paved with concrete finish brushed , with benches and trees. And the existing luminaire will also be replaced. In short, it will be a living area on the side of Oslo Street ”.

The Town Planning Councilor predicts that the construction of this walkway, which has a budget of € 102,570.26, could become a reality this year 2021.
