The City Council of Roses joins the thanks to all the professionals of the emergency services who since last Friday have worked in the extinction of the forest fire of Cap de Creus, started in the urbanization Cau de Llop de Llançà . However, we remind citizens of the need to maintain the utmost caution to prevent repression, as well as the creation of new forest fires in the face of the existing high risk.

Measures against COVID-19 in force since 15 July

With the intention of limiting mobility and contacts, as of today, July 15, new measures come into force to prevent COVID-19 infections and the negative impact of the delta variant. The changes replace the previous regulations and, in any case, will be reviewable depending on the epidemiological situation, care and vaccination coverage of the population. The measures provide for the return of certain limitations as a result of current data on the pandemic in Catalonia. The main changes with respect to the previous resolutions affect the schedule of activities, access to public spaces and social gatherings, among others.

Remember the main safety tips to enjoy a pleasant and safe experience while swimming on the beaches:

Keep an eye on children at all times. Don’t leave them alone.

Always use floating elements when the child does not know how to swim.

Follow the directions of the lifeguard service and the color status of the flag.

Do not bathe in the canals for boats.

Do not throw yourself into the water from breakwaters or platforms.

Don’t trust yourself, remember that the seabed can be uneven.

Do not bathe if you feel unwell or tired

Protect yourself from the sun especially during the hottest hours.
